Media Policy

Media Use Notice – The Rock Church

At The Rock Church, we believe photos, videos, and other media play an important role in celebrating what God is doing in and through our church family. From Sunday services to special events, media helps us tell the story of lives being transformed, highlight those who serve, and invite others into what God is doing here. It also allows us to share our mission of being a church for people who don’t go to church through our website, social media, and other digital and print platforms.

Because of this, photography, videography, and live streaming may take place during services, classes, events, and ministry activities. These recordings may be used in Rock Church materials such as bulletins, newsletters, brochures, social media, website content, and more.

By attending a Rock Church event or gathering:

    •    You consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.

    •    You grant permission for The Rock Church to use your image, voice, or statements without compensation or credit for promotional and ministry related purposes both now and in the future.

    •    You agree to release and hold harmless The Rock Church from any claims related to the use of your image or likeness.

We strive to use media respectfully and thoughtfully. We will not knowingly post content that is embarrassing, inappropriate, or harmful to any clearly identifiable individual.

If you see a photo on our website or social media that includes you or your child and would like it removed, please email us at info@therockca.com. While we are happy to remove specific photos upon request, we are unable to edit or remove individuals from live streams or video recordings. Additionally, we cannot control media captured or shared by guests, outside organizations, or on platforms we do not manage.

Thank you for helping us share the story of what God is doing through The Rock Church.
