Jesus is on the move in our community– Reaching every sphere of society, from prisons to parks, hospitals to high schools. Here at The Rock, we believe God has called us to partner with His heart to be His hands + feet and reach the world around us with the Good News.

  • We take the Gospel outside the walls of the church through street evangelism, live worship, and bold, open proclamation of the Good News. Our heart is to meet people where they are—sharing the love of Jesus in real, tangible ways while creating space for encounters with His presence.

  • Our mission is to reach and serve individuals experiencing homelessness in our community by partnering with local organizations and actively stepping in to meet real needs. We are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus—offering not just connections to resources, but tangible care, compassion, and presence. Through both partnership and personal action, we seek to restore dignity, share hope, and walk alongside those in need toward lasting transformation.

  • We are passionate about seeing Jesus known in the next generation by launching Jesus Clubs in every middle and high school in our area. In addition, we are developing free after-school programs for elementary students to create a safe, joy-filled space where kids can learn about Jesus and experience His love. Our mission is to equip and empower students to live boldly for their faith on campus.

  • We bring the hope, presence, and healing power of Jesus into hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Through compassion, prayer, and proclamation of the Gospel, we serve those who are often facing some of life’s most difficult moments. Our heart is to remind every person they are seen, loved, and not alone.

  • We carry the message of hope, redemption, and freedom into local jails and juvenile detention centers. By building relationships and sharing the Gospel, we believe lives can be transformed regardless of past circumstances. Our goal is to see individuals encounter Jesus, walk in true freedom, and step into a restored future

How do I get involved?

Reach Ministry isn’t just a vision — it’s a call for all of us to step into what God is doing. Each of these ministry spheres needs people willing to say “yes” so we can faithfully serve those in our hospitals, schools, streets, and local communities.

Whether you feel called to pray with the sick, disciple students, share the gospel boldly, or simply show up and love people well — there is a place for you. You don’t need to have it all figured out; we will equip you, support you, and walk with you as you step out in faith.

Requirements to Serve

To ensure we are serving with integrity and care, all volunteers are required to complete a Live Scan (DOJ background check) through the church before getting started. From there, each area has its own onboarding process.

  • Easiest Onramp: Middle Eastern Outreach, Homeless Ministry, and Senior Living Facilities — once you are Live Scan cleared, you can begin serving.

  • Education: Requires additional training before serving in schools.

  • Hospital Outreach: Requires completion of forms, training, and an interview process.

  • Prison Ministry: Onboarding happens in groups and takes the longest to complete due to facility requirements.

No matter where you start, our team will guide you every step of the way so you feel confident and equipped as you step into serving.

Meet our Reach Pastor: Zack Corral

Zack’s passion is to see God’s people join Christ in His work of making all things new — right now. Heal the sick, cast out demons, set captives free. Preach the gospel, make disciples, and participate in heaven’s takeover of the world. These are the values Zack lives by and seeks to help our church fully embrace. Zack’s heart burns for local and global missions, for equipping believers to be confident evangelists, and for empowering God’s people to become His agents of change in the world He so deeply loves.
